What does Postage and Packaging cost?
UK mainland postage and packing is calculated in your shopping basket on a weight based sliding scale starting at just £1.90. If you order multiple items the weight and consequently postage and packing cost will add up in your basket but will maximise £6.90 for an order up to 20kg. Typically the first of 3 very small items will cost £1.90 but as you add the other 2 the cost won't increase as all 3 stay within the first weight band. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee for orders exceeding 20kg, for example 3 or more sets of bowls.
Non UK mainland deliveries will attract a surcharge dependant upon region and country which you will be advised of and have the opportunity to agree to before despatch.
Sorry but we cannot use ordinary mail it is simply not reliable enough. We have tried this before, the bowls went missing and the customer blamed us 100% for non-delivery even though we had explained that it was at thier risk before despatch.
Because the goods were paid for by a customer not present card transaction the credit card company issued the customer with a full refund because we could not prove that they had been delivered.
Due to the actions of this customer we must therefore now use a fully tracked service to protect our business.
What if my purchase is the wrong size?
Not a problem, simply return the goods to us with a note to say whether you want a larger or smaller size. Please help us by trying on your purchase(s) as soon as you receive them without cutting off any of the attached labels.

Do I pay tax on overseas orders?
We have to charge VAT on all orders for delivery within the EU or collected in person. For countries outside the EU orders are sent free of VAT. For orders delivered to a UK address that are for export outside the EU we can issue the relevent export form. On exit from the UK, present the form to customs, they will stamp it and fax us a copy, we can then refund the tax value to the purchasing card.
Please note that tax can only be reclaimed by a person who is resident outside of the European Community (not relatives who are usually resident in the EC and are bringing bowls for you as presents or by arrangement) and who produces identity to that effect on exiting the EU within 3 months of the purchase date.
Why don't you offer overseas surface mail?
Surface mail is untracked and not signed for, it costs more than DHL or UPS.
Why don't you allow a collection service?
This is not allowed by our bank in our mail order payment terms and conditions.
I am visiting relatives in the UK, can my order be deliverred to them?
Yes it can, please indicate that the order is for export in the special instructions box when you checkout. We will then send a customs approved invoice with the order. Take this to customs as you exit the UK and they will stamp it and fax us a copy. we can then credit your card with any sales tax (called Value Added Tax or V.A.T. in the UK) paid. We legally have to charge the tax initally for delivery to any address in the European Union.
